Explore Beijing
Leaving Auckland via Singapore to Beijing on AirNZ.
In Beijing we will visit Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City, Hutongs, Temple of Heaven, Peking Duck, Great Wall of China, Jade Factory, Summer Palace.

Xi'an
Today we visit the Terracotta Warriors, XI'an Art Ceramics and Lacquer Exhibition Workshop and the Ancient City walls.

Yangtze River Cruise
Any idyllic way to see the environs from Chengdu along the Yangtze River, visiting the Three Gorges Dam.

Shanghai
Before leaving Zhangjiajie we visit Tianmen Mountain a national forest bursting with natural beauty, home to breathtaking skywalks. We then travel to Shanghai once known as the 'Paris of the East", now a very influential Asian city.

Home to New Zealand
We depart Shanghai for Auckland via Singapore on AirNZ.

Xi'an
This morning transfer to the train station and board your bullet train to Xi'an, with a journey time of 5 hours. Wander through the Muslim Quarter before enjoying a delicious feast of traditional Shui Jiao dumplings and a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing in the evening.

Chengdu
Chengdu is China's symbolic western capital and residence of the country's most lovable black and white bear. A gateway into Sichuan Province a trove of historical and cultural treasures.

Zhangjiajie
After a 4 hour drive we arrive at Zhangjiajie where we visit the Yuanjianie Scenic Area, Bailong Elevator, Jinbian Stream, Ten Mile Natural Gallery, Lake Baofeng, Huanglong Cave, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge over the next 2 days.

Shanghai
During our 4 day stay in Shanghai we visit the Yu Gardens, Silk Factory, The Bund, a cruise on the Huangpu River.
