All Aboard the Kaimai Express

About: Travel to the Bay of Plenty - Saturday 2nd May 2026. 

 

Departing Hamilton at 11.05am, step aboard for a rare rail journey as Glenbrook Vintage Railway's private heritage train journey to Tauranga for the first time in over a decade, travelling via the iconic Kaimai Tunnel.

 

We journey through to Mt Maunganui and visit the fascinating Classic Flyers Museum. 

 

Investment: $200 - transfers to and from Hamilton Railway Station and ticket for train journey and entry to Wheels and Wings - Classic Flyers Museum.
