Outdoor enthusiasts, keen gardeners, and lovers of travel – Greta and Tony Verhoeven are your hosts at Bike Hike Stay, Pickering Road BnB.
Together they bring enthusiasm, an enjoyment of meeting other travellers, and a wealth of life experience to their Pickering Road BnB in the Waikato. Five adult children, three grandchildren and diverse career paths have influenced many of Tony and Greta’s past moves, but now they are home and back to the land on which Tony was born and raised.
Just as their seedling nikau have grown into mature plants, so Greta and Tony hope Bike Hike Stay will thrive and become a popular BnB Hamilton homestay. They’ve relished the challenge of developing the property into what it is today – and there are lots of ideas for more on-site projects, all designed to enhance the country lifestyle that already brings such pleasure to their guests.
