CURRENT TOURS – 2021:
When: Monday 19th April – Departing 8.30am from the Cambridge i-site or pick up from a pre-arranged location before 8.30am.
About: Heading to the west coast and out to Kawhia. We will explore this beautiful town and check out the museum before we head south to Marokopa. A long the way we will find a spot to enjoy lunch then our journey home will be via Marokopa falls and the Natural Bridge. There’s a huge amount of history in this area and some very interesting places along the way.
This is a beautiful part of the country.

Northland to Cape Reinga
When: Leaving Cambridge on Thursday 29th April 2021 8.30am
.Arriving home on the Thursday 6th May 2021
Time: Departing at 8.30am.
For those that normally head overseas but haven’t been to the top of New Zealand for a while then this may just be what the doctor ordered.
- Thursday 29th April we head to Whangarei – 1 night. We will travel via Mangawhai Heads then up to Waipu which is off the normal State Highway 1.
- 30th April – We travel up the east coast to Paihia for 3 nights, on our way we will visit Kawiti Glow Worm Caves.
- 1st May – Explore the Bay of Islands via boat or just relax.
- 2nd May – Exploring Russell & Kerikeri
- 3rd May – We will travel to Ahipara Bay Motel for 2 nights – lovely beach and views along the 90 Mile Beach.
- 4th May – Today we will be using a local tour company for our trip to Cape Reinga – 8.30am to 5pm a full day and we will be picked up from our Motel in the morning.
- 5th May – Today is a very scenic drive to our destination at Sunset View Lodge at Baylys Beach out from Dargaville. On the way we will travel via Rawene car ferry to Opononi, Kauri Forest and to Kai Iwi Lakes before we arrive at the Lodge for one night.
- 6th May – Our last day we will enjoy the Kauri Museum at Matakohe before we head home to Cambridge.
$1,650.00 per person (twin-share)
Includes all accommodation, cruise to Poor Knights, Tour to Cape Reinga, admission to the Museum, Caves, and all transport costs with driver for the 8 days.

Waihi to Paeroa to Te Aroha
When: Wednesday 12th May 2021 9.00am Lauriston Park or earlier at a pre-arranged location
We will head to Waihi where we will start our bike ride.
This is a great trip through the gorge to Paeroa and then for those that wish to go that little bit further then I’ll be there as a support vehicle through to Te Aroha.
Cost : $30.00 per person for return transport. I’ll leave home at 8.30am for us to be loaded and away by 9am as it will be cooler. If the weather is really bad then we can do this trip on Thursday 13th May
Paeroa River Cruise
When: Friday 28th May 2021 Departing 9am from the Cambridge i-site or pick up from a pre-arranged location before 9am.
About: Historical Paeroa Maritime Park and a river paddleboat cruise on the Ohinemuri and Waihou rivers, aboard the Tamati.
Trips are tide dependent and depart at a different time each day. The tides will be perfect for a lunch time cruise, so bring your lunch or snacks along and enjoy the history of the area. This is a little gem, home to a very important collection of maritime history relating to the late 19th century when the goldfields of Waihi and Karangahake were being developed and mined.
Afterwards view maritime history and displays of the region including Captain Cook, Northern Steam Ship Company and naval displays at the Historical Maritime Park and Museum, or stroll through the beautiful town of Paeroa.
They have new wharf’s being built, so fingers crossed they are all completed

Awakeri Rail Tour
MONDAY 21th JUNE 2021 – Departing 9am (If weather is not suitable on the day then we will change it to another day in the week either 22nd, 23rd, 24th or 25th
MONDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2021 – Departing 9am ( if weather is an issue we will change the day like above.

Cycle Trip: Heading to Rotorua
When: Tuesday 29th June 2021 10.00am departing Lauriston Park or earlier at a pre-arranged location
About: I will pick you up from Lauriston Park and travel to Rotorua. Please register your interest. This is an easy day for you and we will visit Hamurana Springs before we head in to Rotorua for lunch. .
Price: $30-00 includes Transport of yourself and your bike.
When: Thursday 5th August 2021
Time: Departing 9.30am from the Cambridge I-Site or pick up from a pre-arranged location before 9.30 am.
Heading to the top of Rotorua where we will enjoy a stroll through the famous Hamurana Springs. We will then explore O’Kere Falls before we head in to Rotorua to enjoy other attractions that this area offers.

Taranaki Garden Tour
Tour: Monday 1st November to Thursday 4th November
I’m repeating this tour from last year as it was extremely popular. I will only be doing one tour this year so if you are interested please call Greta 027 2557225 or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org to save your seat
I’ve confirmed accommodation at the Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park for three nights. Arriving on the 1st November and departing on the 4th November.
I will leave my place at 35 Norfolk Drive, Cambridge at 8am and will pick everyone up from their home before we head to New Plymouth. Along the way we will stop for refreshments and bathroom stops.
We will go to our accommodation first before we start to explore one of the many gardens that will be open to us.
Towels, Bedding all provided – and there is 5 units in total – tea, coffee, sugar & milk provided in all 5 units
2 Family self contained units, 1 self contained Unit and 2 ensuite cabins. All together these units can sleep 2 persons comfortably with two family units sleeping 3 and then I have 1 unit for one person. Just depends on the configuration once we have interest in the tour.
Please bring something warm eg jersey and jacket as the weather can be very changeable. Just a good pair of walking shoes too but please pack wisely as we are only away 3 nights. I will have a couple of umbrellas on board, water and first aid kit.
There are kitchens in all the cabins so you are very welcome to do your own breakfast, lunch and dinner at your accommodation. I’m very happy to go to the super market on our arrival to New Plymouth so you can purchase your groceries instead of packing and bringing them.
I’m happy to provide transport in the evening if you wish to go out for your evening meal.
