Bike Hike Stay offers a rural getaway in the heart of the Waikato. BnB Hamilton homestay accommodation at Pickering Road BnB is close to cycling and walking trails, quaint regional towns and the Waikato river.

Nestled among established lifestyle blocks, Bike Hike Stay is a newly established BnB guest retreat, situated halfway between Hamilton and Cambridge. Hosts Greta and Tony have lived on the Pickering Road land for years and established a native bush and orchard getaway.

The BnB compromises two double bedrooms, with a shared bathroom and spa bath. The kitchen, lounge and TV area is also available for guests and provide a welcoming communal area to converse with other cycling and hiking enthusiasts and Greta and Tony themselves. There are also sheep, chickens and cows on the property and, if guests would like, on-site eel feeding can be arranged.

Upon your arrival you’ll find a freshly made pot of tea or coffee and hosts who want to ensure you feel right at home. One stay won’t be enough at Bike Hike Stay, and with the plethora of activities to do in the region, you’ll be booking a return stay before you’ve even left.

Pickering Road BnB have bikes and bike helmets available for hire: $40/bike

Prices

Peak prices (2nd December – 30th June):
– $150 double room
– $160 delux room with SkyTV

Off-peak prices (1st July – 1st December):
– $120 double room
– $130 delux room with SkyTV

Transportation

Bike Hike Stay can provide transportation for guests wishing to explore the region. A shuttle service and airport shuttle that seats up to 10 people are available for a small surcharge. Please contact us if you wish to arrange this service.

Facilities

Pickering Road B&B offers two double bedrooms with shared bathroom and spa bath. Rooms have free WiFi, are non-smoking and come with continental breakfasts. Guests can also enjoy walking around the established gardens and orchard. Private parking is available on site.
